The birth of Annie Walker Photography
This is my 1st ever blog post so, if please excuse me if I ramble, I'm sorry, I feel like I should start by introducing myself.
Hi I'm Annie, 32 year old wife and mother.
I have had a keen interest in photography since my children were small and studied photography at Clydebank College before moving to Gosport, Hampshire. In that time my photography journey has been growing.
I have worked for a local professional photography business for 3 years and due to a change in my personal circumstances decided it was time to begin Annie Walker Photography.
Along my journey I have dabbled in a few different areas of Newborn Photography, Maternity, Family Portraits, Digital Art, Events and Gigs and street photography. I decided I'm not a lover of weddings but that doesn't mean that door will stay closed for ever. I have attended a few workshops with Kenny Martin, Tracy Willis and Ellie Cassidy to help me improve my skills and am a Licentiate member with the Master Photography Association.
Nothing gives me a greater sense of achievement than when someone tears up or laughs at a memory that I've created.
Where do I want to be in 5 years time? I haven't figured that out for myself just yet but as long as I can continue to make people laugh and cry with my photographs then I know I'm doing the right thing.
